2026–27 EV Cheat Sheet: Every Trim, Range, Price & AWD Cost

Every new electric vehicle on sale in the U.S., brand by brand: each trim's price with destination, EPA range, what AWD costs, and what each step up gets you.

Updated Oct 10, 2026 · Prepared by Mazen, Carsultant4u · Checked against manufacturer sites every month

How to read this sheet

Every new battery EV on sale in the US, brand by brand in alphabetical order, with what each trim adds and what AWD costs.

  • Price is the starting MSRP plus the manufacturer's destination charge. It excludes tax, registration, dealer add-ons and doc fees.
  • Range is the EPA estimate on the most efficient wheel size for that trim.
  • AWD +$ is the price gap between that trim's 2WD and AWD versions. "Std" means AWD comes standard, and "—" means AWD isn't offered.
  • What you get lists what each trim adds over the trim listed before it.
  • The federal $7,500 EV tax credit ended September 30, 2025. Some brands still run their own cash or lease incentives, which change monthly.

At a glance

The Chevy Bolt is the cheapest new EV at $28,995, the Nissan Leaf gives the most range for the money, and AWD typically adds $1,750 to $5,950.

Question Answer Price Range

Largest AWD upcharge Volvo EX30 (includes a big power jump); Chevy Equinox EV LT 1 is next +$5,950 / +$5,300 —

AWD almost always costs range: expect 10 to 40 fewer miles than the same trim with one motor.

Shared platforms

Many EVs from different brands are built on the same underlying platform, so they share batteries, motors and charging hardware. A buyer cross-shopping twins is often choosing styling, features and price rather than engineering.

Ultium (cars and SUVs) GM Chevrolet Bolt, Equinox EV, Blazer EV; Cadillac Optiq, Lyriq, Vistiq; Honda Prologue
Ultium (trucks and large SUVs) GM Chevrolet Silverado EV; GMC Sierra EV, Hummer EV; Cadillac Escalade IQ and IQL
